Test Review Web Sites

  • Spark Notes Test Prep
    Free resources including test organization, how to study, and practice tests. Includes ACT, SAT, GRE and some AP. The site does require account creation.
  • Test Prep Review
    Your source for practice tests. Tests are in text format with the answers at the end of each test. It is not an interactive test. A wide variety of practice tests offered. ACT, PSAT, SAT, ASVAB, CNA.
  • WizIQ
    Free online practice tests. Requires account creation, tests are interactive - scores are e-mailed to you.
  • Shmoop
    Account creation required, many resources are free. Variety of test prep materials as well as resources for any content area. Has a reward area - users earn points (schmoints) when they take quizzes and review certain items, the more you learn the more you earn. Great resource for students!
  • SAT Vocabulary
    12 lesson plans include 252 SAT and ACT test words. The first 10 lesson plans each use 18 words. SAT Test 9 and 10 focus on international words and science. SAT Test 11 and 12 contain an additional 72 words and are in the second list below.
    NOTE: Each SAT and ACT lesson plan includes the interactive word puzzles, a crossword, a definition match, a word search and fill-in- the-blank activities.
  • ACT Vocabulary
    Myvocabulary.com features ACT test prep and ACT practice tests. Five separate lesson plans provide 60 ACT words. Latin and Greek roots facilitate mastery of unfamiliar words. The ACT and other standardized tests for college entrance use similar words in ACT test prep exams.
  • GRE Vocabulary
    Myvocabulary.com features GRE test prep and GRE practice tests. Right now one of 12 separate lesson plans provide 12 ACT words (goal is 144 words) in a lesson plan of 12 words each. Latin and Greek roots facilitate mastery of unfamiliar words.
  • Minnesota Driver Permit Test
    This free online service will help your students prepare for the driver knowledge test and become safe drivers.
